Mirage’s Modular
Dancing Fountain System
now makes this possible. weather it’s a Lake, River, Pond, Pool,
Ballroom, Convention Center, or a Parking Lot the MDFS was designed
to perform Dancing Fountain shows anywhere. The real power of the
Modular Dancing Fountain System is that it allows this stunning
sight to be used in venues and for events that were never even
considered before.
Designed with an
overabundance of horse power, the MDFS is just at home in a lake
setting blasting effects to 30 and 40’ high as it is in a Hotel
ballroom doing corporate shows. The control system incorporates
Variable Frequency Drives for smooth and precise pump speed control.
A function that is vital in making the fountains dance and come
alive.
The MDFS operates in
two basic modes.
In Floating Mode
the MDFS chassis is fitted with flotation modules that allow it to
operate in any body of water deeper than 24”. This avoids depending
on submerged surfaces and in doing so, also avoids any possibility
of marring or scuffing of pool bottoms. Muddy and uneven pond
bottoms are also removed from the equation.
In Dry Land Mode
the MDFS utilizes a modular pool that is designed to surround the
MDFS and form a shallow pool. In this configuration the system
will operate in as little as 12” of water.
The MDFS
systems are modular by design and are
comprised of individual chassis that are linked together end to end
to form fountain display systems as long as is desired. These
chassis contain multiple fountain arrays that can be populated with
a vast array of industry standard nozzles and fountain effects. The
number of nozzle arrays can vary between 6 and 12 depending on the
model of MDFS. The chassis can be linked side by side as well which
allow one to create a system with an unlimited number of nozzle
arrays.
Design your own system;
One of the most exciting aspects of this modular design is that it
allows clientele the ability to design their own systems. The MDFS
just provides a framework upon which to create your vision. The best
part is that clientele can continue to customize their systems to an
almost endless degree. With such a wide variety of different nozzles
and effects available the number of looks and visuals that can be
created is truly infinite.
We have had several new and dynamic fountain effects under
developments and they are now part of the MDFS’s repertoire. These
are new and fascinating effects that have never been seen
before!
It’s all in the lighting;
Mirage has been developing new and unique methods of illumination
that push this amazing spectacle clean over the top. In our opinion
this is the most powerful aspect of the MDFS.
It simply allows us to create spectacular looks and animated visual
sculptures that have never been done before. A combination of both
submersible and land based lighting elements are used to create
these amazing looks.
Live Operation,
One of the many innovative features of the Modular Dancing
Fountains is that it can be operated LIVE! This way
you can match the rhythms and nuisances of any music. When the MDFS
is being used as an element in a party atmosphere its effect is
nothing short of astonishing. This live aspect also allows the MDFS
to perform show numbers without the added cost and time associated
with custom programming. The MDFS utilizes a standard lighting
control board for both programming and to run pre-recorded modules.
Water Screen Projections Too!!
Imagine a wonderful dancing fountain display ending with your
logo shimmering and floating in mid air above the pool!! Mirage has
developed a scaled down peacock tail water screen system designed to
do just that. Our MINI-PT has been integrated into the MDFS so that
Video, Lasers, Slides, or any other projected media can be used in
conjunction with Modular Dancing Fountains.
